It has not been a good start to the Indian Wells tournament for the Tennis Picks, but I was not helped by Joao Sousa failing to serve out his match against Mikhail Youzhny before coming through in a tie-breaker.
Marcos Baghdatis had enough breaks of serve to cover, but could not hold onto serve and Friday turned into a very difficult day.
I won't be allowing this week to go the same it went in 2017 so Saturday is an important day with the six picks in the 'My Picks' section below. I expect to have a winning day to start getting this tournament turned back into a positive position, but a losing day may mean putting a fork in the tennis picks until the end of the month when I will be back from my break.
