I am still not quite over the result from Old Trafford last weekend, but I have to say I am getting a touch annoyed with the coverage from the game since then, and the total misapprehension that it was a deserved final scoreline.
While I have felt United have been acting a little naive with their defending and that they were going to get a hammering from someone soon, let's not forget the fact that 3 of the goals conceded last week came in the final 3 minutes of the game (the first of which was offside that has been overlooked), and a lot of people seem to have completely ignored the fact United were down to 10 men with the scoreline still in the balance.
The whole first half had been a close game and I didn't think United were going to definitely lose until Jonny Evans was given his marching orders... yet it seems that everyone else believes it was a scoreline that showed the difference between the teams.
United have bounced back in the past from heavy defeats, and I fully expect they will again although this weekend is a ridiculously tough test at Goodison Park, a venue where they have always had to fight for results.
So we finally get to the last week of October in what has been a long month with 5 Saturday, Sunday and Mondays thrown in, the first time in a long time that has happened. I will be posting my weekend plays as soon as I lock them in and you can follow me on Twitter for updates as to when they are posted along with my NFL and College Football picks:
