Premier League Darts Night 16 Picks 2026 (Thursday 21st May)

We have made it through to the final regular season Night of the Premier League Darts, but not many would have anticipated that almost everything would have been decided ahead of time.

Both Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price reached the Final on Night 15 and that has pushed them into the Play Offs along with Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler.

The only situation of real importance on Night 16 is determining whether Humphries or Price finish 3rd in the standings and thus take on Clayton in the Semi Final, while the player finishing 4th will face Luke Littler at the O2 Arena.

It is not what the organisers would have wanted and it may finally mean a change in the format, which is something that the fans have been clamouring for over the last couple of years.

At the moment there is no changes and so the last regular season Night will be played as usual and with the Semi Final lineup to complete.

Luke Littler to win & over 5.5 total 180s v Josh Rock: There is nothing to lose for either player in this Quarter Final, but Josh Rock will be looking to round back into some kind of consistent form.

He won the last European Tour title, which is a big achievement, but his Players Championship runs have not been that impressive since then.

Josh Rock will be looking to have one more big impact in the Premier League and there has been little wrong with his maximum hitting, but Luke Littler is well rested and has just received his MBE award.

The World Number 1 has been skipping recent European Tour events and has not been playing in the Players Championship floor events, but he had won three Premier League Nights in a row before losing to Luke Humphries in the Semi Final last week. He may yet be hoping to avoid facing Humphries in the Play Offs next week, at least until the Championship Match, but Littler should also be focused enough to want another strong showing on the stage ahead of the visit to the O2 Arena where he will be looking to reclaim the title lost.

That focus should see Luke Littler have a bit too much for Josh Rock for the sixth time in a row in 2026.

Luke Humphries to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Michael van Gerwen: It took fifteen weeks, but Luke Humphries was finally able to pick up a Premier League Nightly win and remove all drama from Night 16.

The five points on the board have secured the defending Champion a spot in the Play Offs, but he may need to win another Nightly title if he wants to avoid facing Luke Littler in the Semi Final next week.

Luke Humphries picked up another Players Championship title earlier in the week and he will be confident in his own form even if he is to face Littler in his first match back at the O2 Arena, but avoiding the latest clash with the World Number 1 until the Championship Match is preferable.

Momentum is with Humphries who has won a couple of big titles over the last eight days and that will help against Michael van Gerwen who will be very disappointed that he has missed the Play Offs again.

Missing one of the fifteen Premier League Nights with an illness has proved costly for the Dutchman, but his overall form has been impressive and Michael van Gerwen can be confident it will lead to more titles over the remainder of the year.

Unlike Humphries, Michael van Gerwen did not play in the Players Championship events this week- that may be an issue when it comes to trying to beat the in-form World Number 2, but van Gerwen can certainly contribute in what should be a quality match and both players can hit at least two maximums in a Quarter Final that is eventually won by Luke Humphries.

Jonny Clayton-Stephen Bunting over 5.5 180s: Both of these players enjoyed one strong run at the two Players Championship events played earlier this week and that will give them some confidence.

That will be needed as both Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting look for much stronger Premier League efforts than in Night 15 when they were beaten 6-0 in Quarter Final matches.

This is a 'dead rubber' in terms of the standings, but both players should be motivated to want to have one more big night on this stage- Jonny Clayton is heading to Finals Night next week and he will be keen to keep his strong form going.

However, Stephen Bunting has shown he can pile in with the maximums when he does find time to build up his rhythm, while Jonny Clayton is very confident around the treble 20 as well.

Only the top two Ranked players in the world have more maximums than Jonny Clayton in the Premier League and this is a Quarter Final that can feature at least six as long as we don't have another blowout one way or the other.

Gerwyn Price to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: After admitting he was not feeling his best and some uncertainty around his decision to skip the World Cup of Darts, Gerwyn Price produced a couple of key wins last week to earn his spot in the Premier League Finals.

He should be well rested having skipped the latest Players Championship events and Gerwyn Price may have too much for Gian van Veen in this Quarter Final.

The young Dutchman will have learned plenty during his Premier League run, but the last couple of months have been difficult as Gian van Veen has lost some confidence and his own health has not been at 100%.

Gian van Veen was unfortunate in his defeat to Price last week, but that has ended hopes of finishing in the top four in the Premier League standings, while a couple of relatively early defeats in the last Players Championship tournaments will not have helped the confidence.

Motivation has to be questionable for Gerwyn Price who may be more focused on the Premier League Finals next week, but there is a chance to avoid playing Luke Littler in the Semi Final. That may be important enough for the Welshman to dig in on Night 16 and Gerwyn Price has shown his power scoring throughout this Premier League run.

Premier League Darts Night 15 Picks 2026 (Thursday 14th May)

We are into the penultimate week of the Premier League season and Finals night is looming large for the players still hoping to be involved.

Luke Littler and Jonny Clayton have tied up two positions, while Josh Rock is eliminated and Stephen Bunting could join him at the end of this Night 15 in Birmingham.

It is the middle of the table that is creating the drama and just 5 points separates Gerwyn Price in 3rd place and Gian van Veen in 6th.

Another run to a Nightly Final pushed Luke Humphries into 4th place, but the defending Champion will regret yet another 6-5 defeat to Luke Littler that prevented him moving into the driving seat for Qualification behind the top two. Momentum is with Humphries and he will be looking to add at least another two points this week before Night 16 when he is going to be facing one of his main rivals for a spot at the O2 in the Quarter Finals in Sheffield.

At one stage it felt like Gerwyn Price was going to coast into the Play Offs, but he has lost some momentum and has admitted that he is not playing at full health right now- it has seen him withdraw from recent Players Championship and European Tour events, although the World Cup of Darts withdrawal is apparently not down to poor health as the PDC stated and that according to Price himself.

Two Dutchman make up the foursome pushing for the final two places and Michael van Gerwen won a big title earlier this week and looks to have more going on for him compared with Gian van Veen.

Of course hings can change very quickly in the Premier League and two big Nights remain for the players involved in all of the drama.

Josh Rock to win v Gian van Veen: The Premier League run is over, but Josh Rock will blame his early form for his troubles and the Northern Irishman is still playing at a really good level.

Picking up the European Tour 6 title last weekend backs up the statement and Rock is going to be very dangerous for Play Off chasing Gian van Veen.

All of the pressure is on the latter, but over the last two months, Gian van Veen's level has not been near to what he had been producing at the back end of 2025 and into early 2026. This has led to a number of early defeats and the Dutchman looks vulnerable in the opening Quarter Final on Night 15 of the Premier League.

Those chasing bigger prices may think about Josh Rock to complete the match double of winning with most maximums- in the Premier League he has only one fewer maximum compared with Gian van Veen and that despite playing a lot fewer matches.

However, just simply backing Rock to win at odds against looks the call.

Michael van Gerwen to win v Gerwyn Price: One Dutchman could find himself on the brink of elimination earlier in the night, but Michael van Gerwen could put himself in a really strong position in the 'weaker' side of the bracket on Night 15.

He was in devastating form earlier this week in winning Players Championship 15 and Michael van Gerwen has found a consistency that has been lacking in recent Gerwyn Price performances.

The Welshman has admitted that he is playing through a few health problems and that has meant The Ice Man has not taken part in recent Players Championship or European Tour events. It has also led to early losses in the Premier League and that has allowed three players to pull in close to 3rd place Price and put him under some pressure.

Gerwyn Price has won the last three matches against Michael van Gerwen, including twice in the Premier League, but the latter has rediscovered some of the early season form and can come through as the narrow underdog.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s v Stephen Bunting: Not many would have predicted Luke Humphries would be entering Night 15 of the Premier League without a Nightly win, but he has found a way to reach the Final in each of the last two weeks.

Of course the defending Champion will be frustrated he has lost the last two Nightly Finals by the same 6-5 scoreline to Luke Littler, but the points have pushed Luke Humphries back into the top four of the Premier League standings.

He still has work to do in order to Qualify for the Play Offs later this month, but Humphries has momentum and he did narrowly beat Stephen Bunting last week.

Credit has to be given to Stephen Bunting for offering as much resistance as he did in that Semi Final in Leeds, but the defeat likely ends his hopes of playing at the O2 Arena in London.

Two solid Players Championship efforts earlier this week will have given Stephen Bunting a boost and he can be dangerous when finding his rhythm around the treble 20 bed. That was the case in the Semi Final last week when hitting two more maximums than Luke Humphries, but overall it is the latter who has had the edge in that market and he can reverse those maximum numbers in another winning effort against this rival.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Jonny Clayton: There has been little wrong with Jonny Clayton's Premier League performance nor the manner in which he has produced some power scoring, but Luke Littler has won the last three Premier League Nights and is motoring towards top spot.

A win on Thursday will effectively secure him the position before Night 16 and Luke Littler should be well rested as he looks to make it ten Premier League wins in a row.

Jonny Clayton reached the Players Championship 16 Final on Tuesday and he has been playing at a really good level all season.

He loves the Premier League, but it is Littler who has ended his run in two of the last three Nights and the World Number 1 wants to continue sticking it to his main rivals. This will pay dividends in the big Ranking tournaments to be played in the second half of the season and Littler can complete the match double in the last Quarter Final of the night.

Michael van Gerwen @ 2.00 Sky Bet (1 Unit)

Premier League Darts Night 14 Picks 2026 (Thursday 7th May)

Three Nights remain on the Premier League tour before half of the field is eliminated and the pressure is on.

Two players have already Qualified for the Play Offs- both Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler deserve their spots at the O2 Arena having already produced over 30 points in the Premier League regular season.

A double digit gap then develops to Gerwyn Price, but he looks like he is a couple of wins away from joining Littler and Clayton, but that is when things become really interesting.

Michael van Gerwen is 4th, but he is only a couple of points clear of both Gian van Veen and Luke Humphries and there is a big opportunity for the latter two players on Night 14.

That is because the current top four are all in one half of the bracket, while Luke Humphries and Gian van Veen will be confident of adding at least two more points to the total. That would really build some momentum towards a top four finish, especially if Michael van Gerwen is to lose early, but of course both van Veen and Humphries have to deal with the pressure that they are currently under in their own bids for a Play Off place.

Gerwyn Price to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Jonny Clayton: There has been a number of close, competitive defeats to Gerwyn Price, but Jonny Clayton continues to find it difficult to get over the hump and beat his compatriot.

He does have one win over Price in the Premier League, but a couple more losses have been added to the head to head since then.

This is a tournament and format that Jonny Clayton loves and that has to be respected, as well as his continued strong scoring.

However, Gerwyn Price is a bit more desperate and continues to play strong stuff all around.

The last four Premier League efforts have been disappointing, but The Ice Man can find a way past his mate in this one and likely in a quality match where both do hit a couple of maximums on the time spent at the oche.

Luke Littler-Michael van Gerwen over 6.5 180s: The last couple of clashes between these players have produced some eye-catching numbers and this Quarter Final could be another.

The crowd are going to be on the side of the Dutchman with Littler's connections to Manchester United well known.

However, that has tended to fuel Luke Littler and the World Number 1 is usually pretty sharp on the maximum hitting.

Michael van Gerwen has found some heavy scoring against Littler in the last couple of matches and he will be disappointed to have lost the last three Premier League meetings. None have been in blowouts and these two players can put together at least nine or ten Legs, which will give them an opportunity to cover this total line set for the maximums.

Luke Humphries to win & both over 1.5 180s v Josh Rock: The extremely slow start to the Premier League was always going to be too much for Josh Rock to overcome, but he has at least shown what he is about over the last few weeks.

With three weeks left, Josh Rock still has a chance of avoiding finishing bottom of the pile and that has to give him some motivation.

He will be taking on the home favourite on Night 14 when going into the lion's den in Leeds against Luke Humphries, but Josh Rock has shown he can give as good as he gets in recent Premier League outings. Last week he pushed Luke Littler and he can do the same to a desperate Humphries who needs to rack up a few wins to avoid exiting the tournament before the Play Offs.

It would be a huge disappointment for the defending Champion to exit the 2026 Premier League in that manner, but Luke Humphries is still performing at a really good level. It is the doubling that has let him down, but Humphries can showcase a bit more scoring power than Josh Rock in winning this match, although both producing a couple of maximums en route is likely.

Gian van Veen to win & 1+ 100 Checkout v Stephen Bunting: Both of these players have been going through a bit of a rough patch, but Gian van Veen has shown signs of coming through that period.

He played well on Night 13 before losing to Luke Humphries in the Semi Final and van Veen has to be feeling healthier now.

Stephen Bunting's chances of reaching the Play Offs have all but faded as he continues to suffer too many early defeats, but he is dangerous and can produce the heavy scoring that will give him chances.

The superior finishing has come from Gian van Veen and combination finishing is something he is renowned for.

You can make the case for Bunting to do that too and so a single 100+ checkout in this match can be doubled up with an improving Gian van Veen to pick up two priceless points in what could be a pivotal night in the race for a place at the O2 Arena later this month.

MY PICKS: Gerwyn Price to Win & Both Over 1.5 180s @ 2.25 Bet365 (1 Unit)
Luke Littler-Michael van Gerwen Over 6.5 180s @ 2.10 Sky Bet (1 Unit)
Luke Humphries to Win & Both Over 1.5 180s @ 2.05 Bet365 (1 Unit)
Gian van Veen to Win & 1+ 100 Checkouts @ 2.00 Bet365 (1 Unit)

Premier League Darts Night 12 Picks 2026 (Thursday 23rd April)

Only five Nights remain in the Premier League Darts tournament before we reach the Play Offs and the pressure is building on those looking to push their way into the top four of the standings.

Jonny Clayton looked to be in a bit of a slump, but picking up the Night 11 win means he is back on top of the standings and almost certainly playing at the O2 Arena at the end of May.

There is an 11 point gap between Luke Littler and 5th place and you have to imagine he already has enough in hand to earn his spot in the Semi Final, although there may be some motivation in wanting to finish top of the regular season standings. How much could depend on how the 4th place position shakes up, but Littler is 5 points behind Clayton and needs some consistency over the final five weeks to close down the Welshman and ultimately overtake him.

The European Tour 5 event last weekend was won by Gerwyn Price and he is 3rd in the Premier League standings and likely a couple more Quarter Final wins away from earning his chance to win the trophy. That victory in Germany last weekend will have given Price a huge boost and he has been playing at a very high level throughout 2026, while having a few more days to recover from an illness can only be good news.

He has the momentum, but it feels like it is below Price that the race for the Play Offs really is taking place.

4th place is currently held by Michael van Gerwen, but his Quarter Final defeat on Night 11 means he is 3 points ahead of Luke Humphries, 4 points ahead of Gian van Veen and 5 points ahead of Stephen Bunting. That looks a decent gap, but there are plenty of points still to play for and the defending Champion, Luke Humphries, remains a danger even if he has yet to find the consistency that took him to the title eleven months ago.

Night 12 feels like an opportunity for the likes of Gian van Veen and Stephen Bunting on the other side of the draw to Luke Littler, but they have the two Welshman to deal with in the Quarter Final.

Instead it is Michael van Gerwen who looks to have the chance to extend his lead in 4th place with the 'easiest' of the four Quarter Finals to play, although he will be well aware that Josh Rock has raised his level significantly over the last month and who has been winning Quarter Final matches in the Premier League setting even as it has come a little late to really have the Northern Irishman pushing for a late inclusion in the Play Offs.

With the Premier League entering the final quarter of the regular season next week, this is a big Night for all involved.

Gerwyn Price to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: Five losses in a row have just underlined the fact that Gian van Veen has not been at his best since his operation and he has lost some ground in the race for the top four in the Premier League.

An early loss last weekend means he heads to Liverpool with little momentum and the Dutchman could struggle to keep up with Gerwyn Price.

The Ice Man was out of sorts in Rotterdam having just returned from an illness, but his performance to win the European Tour 5 event suggests Price has more than recovered.

This is a player producing some very significant scoring and the expectation is that Gerwyn Price will win this match.

Th Welshman has been the much more consistent maximum hitter of the two and he can secure the Match Double in this Quarter Final.

Jonny Clayton to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Stephen Bunting: Last year, Stephen Bunting played a really poor Quarter Final in his defeat in Liverpool and you do have to imagine the emotions got the better of him.

In 2026, that experience should lead to a better effort from Bunting, but he may still come up short against Premier League leader Jonny Clayton who returned to form on Night 11.

Earning the Nightly win after three successive Quarter Final defeats will have just reignited the fire for Jonny Clayton and he played well in Germany last weekend before throwing in a poor match against Martin Schindler. Missing doubles proved to be the issue, but Clayton can bounce back by putting up another two points in the Premier League.

Stephen Bunting was not at his best in the defeat to Wessel Nijman in Germany, while he has been struggling for consistency in the Premier League in his bid to close in on the top four places.

Playing at home can be tough at times, but both players should contribute to the maximums being hit and it may be a match that Jonny Clayton can do just enough to edge through.

Michael van Gerwen to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Josh Rock: He has been playing well outside of the Premier League setting so it is not a major surprise that Josh Rock has begun to win games on Thursday nights.

Unfortunately for the Northern Irishman, he has yet to win back to back matches on the same night and that leaves him with a lot of work to do if he is going to make a surprise run through to the Play Offs.

Losing this Quarter Final will make it very difficult for Josh Rock to do that against the player currently occupying the last of those Play Off places, but he will not be lacking for any confidence when facing Michael van Gerwen.

After opening the season looking more like his old self, Michael van Gerwen has been struggling for consistency, but he has been doing just enough to keep the points ticking over. He was well beaten by compatriot Wessel Nijman last weekend in the Third Round of the latest European Tour event played, but van Gerwen will feel his steady kind of level may be enough to win this match.

Both are more than capable of putting a couple of maximums on the board, but it feels like the Dutchman may just do what he needs to earn a spot in the Semi Final, while adding two more key points to his tally.

Luke Humphries v Luke Littler: These two players have met three times in the Premier League and all have come down to a last Leg decider.

Luke Littler has won two of those, including last week in the Semi Final, and it is understandable that he has been set as the favourite.

However, over the last month, Luke Littler has not been operating at his very best and even the motivation to top this Premier League regular season standings may not be as high as some may think. Perhaps the altercation with Gian van Veen on Night 9 in Manchester has had some kind of impact on him and so there is an opportunity for Luke Humphries.

The doubling has really let Humphries down in the Premier League and his 37% checkout percentage is the worst of the top six.

Scoring has not been a problem, but you won't win many matches if you cannot double out when needed and it has proven to be costly.

However, he has at least played with more confidence when facing Luke Littler, even if coming out of the wrong side more often than not, and Luke Humphries may be able to make the underdog odds pay out here if he can just find some composure from somewhere to really start moving towards the top four in the defence of the title he won eleven months ago.

Premier League Darts Night 11 Picks 2026 (Thursday 16th April)

Just six weeks remain in the Premier League Darts before we enter the Play Offs at the end of May and the pressure is building on those hoping to take part.

Night 10 was a week of upsets and a third Nightly win for Jonny Clayton should be enough for the current Premier League leader to feel pretty confident he will be one of the final four standing.

Luke Littler and Gerwyn Price both failed to add to the points already achieved, but at 21 and 19 points respectively, they probably need to avoid Quarter Final defeats in half of the next six weeks and that should be enough to progress to the Semi Final. They are due to face off on Night 10 in Rotterdam, but there will be no sense of panic as far as the player losing a second consecutive Quarter Final is concerned.

It was a strong week in Brighton for Michael van Gerwen, although he will be disappointed he was not able to close out the Nightly win having moved into a dominant position in the Final against Clayton. Three more points keeps him in 4th place though and van Gerwen is now 4 points clear of Gian van Veen in 5th place which means the pressure is certainly building on those hoping to chase a Play Off spot.

One of those now beginning to look like he is in a desperate position is the defending Champion.

Luke Humphries has not played poorly, but he has lost far too many matches he should have won and 11 points means he has a lot of work to do over the next few weeks- it has been a really poor campaign in terms of results with only one Final reached and Humphries having been beaten in his opening match in half of the Nights played, including on each of the last three weeks.

While not quite in 'must win' mode, Luke Humphries has to dig in being on the tougher half of the draw on Night 11 nad facing Luke Littler in the Quarter Final on Night 12.

If Luke Humphries still has some hope of pushing into the top four, the same can be said for Stephen Bunting who also has 11 points on the board, but he HAS to win his Quarter Final on the weaker side of the draw in Rotterdam, even if Bunting is set to face an improving Josh Rock.

Another European Tour event will be taking place in Germany this weekend, but some of those in the Premier League were involved in Players Championship tournaments earlier this week.

Challenges of getting to these European Tour events have been frustrating for some of the British and Irish players making their way onto the continent, but that should be less problematic from Rotterdam.

The two Lukes are not attending, but a good field is getting together at the European Darts Grand Prix ahead of this weekend's action.

Before that, the latest Premier League Night will have to be played and completed.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Gerwyn Price: After the criticism that was hurled his way following a controversial conclusion to his defeat against Gian van Veen, Luke Littler did not look at all interested in his Quarter Final defeat to Stephen Bunting last week.

He is a young man and mistakes will be made, but the PR team that should be supporting Littler has let him down and he is likely to receive an 'interesting' response in Rotterdam on Night 11.

There are times when the crowd can dictate the Luke Littler mood, but he should be focused on this Quarter Final as he looks to maintain the current edge over Gerwyn Price.

The Welshman has been playing like the second best player in the world through 2026, but he has been a little under the weather earlier this week and that could be an issue in this match. Even at full health, Gerwyn Price has found a way to come up a little short when facing Luke Littler and all four Premier League defeats have been in competitive matches.

It is the Night 7 Final defeat that will particularly sting as Gerwyn Price failed to convert a 5-0 lead in a race to six Legs, but he will be happy with his overall form in 2026.

However, if Price is not yet fully recovered, he could come up a touch short again and Luke Littler's power scoring has seen him complete this Match Double in all four Premier League wins over The Ice Man.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: Dropping down to 7th place in the Premier League standings has put Luke Humphries under immense pressure to find a string of positive results over the next month.

Three Quarter Final losses in a row will have dented some of the confidence, while Luke Humphries had a couple of mixed days in Players Championship action earlier this week.

This looks a seriously tough test for the World Number 2, at least from a mental point of view, with Night 11 of the Premier League being played in Rotterdam.

Both Dutch players taking part in the Premier League will receive huge support and it is Gian van Veen going out first for this Quarter Final.

Four matches between the players in 2026 have been split with two wins apiece, while they are 1-1 in the Premier League.

However, there is a lot on the line in this Quarter Final with the two points so important to the chances of one of these players to start getting closer to the top four positions.

Gian van Veen did get to the Final of a Premier League Night a couple of weeks ago, but his overall recent form has not been the best and that has to give Luke Humphries a huge amount of encouragement. The World Number 2 remains the bigger maximum hitter and he will need to find some early rhythm in this one to make sure he earns enough opportunities at the doubles to find a way into the Semi Final.

The home fans may not be best pleased by the result in this Quarter Final, but they may have more to celebrate soon afterwards.

Michael van Gerwen to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Jonny Clayton: He may still be wondering how he was beaten in the Night 10 Final, but the three points earned has put Michael van Gerwen in a strong position in the standings.

More work has yet to be done if the Dutchman is going to return to the Play Offs, but he can snap this losing run against Jonny Clayton.

Credit has to be given to the new Premier League leader for a third Nightly win and the battling display from Jonny Clayton to recover from 2-5 behind to win the Final can only give him further confidence. There has been little wrong with the level of performance produced so far in 2026 and Clayton continues to hit plenty of maximums and show strong doubling when it really matters.

Ending a run of early losses will have been a boost for Clayton, but Michael van Gerwen can use the home crowd to continue picking off the points.

Jonny Clayton put a few wins together across a couple of Players Championship tournaments earlier in the week, but Michael van Gerwen will have been preparing for Rotterdam and can edge past the League leader in what should be another quality Quarter Final.

Josh Rock most 180s v Stephen Bunting: Winning Premier League matches three weeks in a row means Josh Rock has closed on 7th placed Luke Humphries, but he has not been able to string the wins together in each of those Nights.

He has long known that he likely needs to win at least three Premier League Nights if he is going to have any hope of making the final four, but the positive for Josh Rock is that fans are seeing the kind of level he can produce.

The averages are improving, but most notable is the maximum hitting which had deserted Rock earlier this season.

He goes into this Quarter Final as the favourite to progress, but Stephen Bunting will haveb something to say about that having put together a better overall Premier League record compared with last year. There is still a real hope for Bunting fans that their man can reach the Semi Final at the end of May, but he is another who just needs to find some consistency and especially having landed in the 'weaker' half of the draw on Night 11.

Stephen Bunting may win, but Josh Rock's recent maximum hitting has been very improving all of the time- despite playing fewer matches than this opponent, Josh Rock has been peppering the treble 20 bed and now has just one fewer maximum than Stephen Bunting.

All of the pressure is on Bunting and that may allow Josh Rock to continue to show the fans what he is all about and why he was selected for the Premier League in the first place.

Premier League Darts Night 10 Picks 2026 (Thursday 9th April)

This is now the time of the Premier League season when the Play Offs really begin to loom up large and the pressure is building on those chasing top four spots.

Luke Littler's spat with Gian van Veen made the headlines on Night 9, but it was one of four Quarter Final matches where the underdog found a way to get through.

Gerwyn Price won the Night 9 trophy and has moved into 2nd place in the Premier League standings and the pressure has really built up on Luke Humphries.

The defending Champion is in for a battle to merely make it back to the O2 Arena after another early defeat and he needs a big week very quickly if only to offer up some momentum to move into the top four places.

Luke Humphries to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Jonny Clayton: After winning a European Tour title, Luke Humphries would have been expecting much more than back to back Quarter Final defeats in the next two Premier League nights.

He cannot afford another one with a two point gap between himself and the top four and especially if Humphries is to allow Jonny Clayton to just pull himself out of his own recent slump.

Unlike Luke Humphries, Clayton was playing out in Germany and made the Quarter Final before coming up short against Danny Noppert.

A strong start to the Premier League campaign has seen Clayton place 19 points on the board, but the Welshman has suffered three straight Quarter Final defeats since picking up the maximum points on Night 6.

The real disappointment for Clayton is that he has lost to Josh Rock in back to back weeks and those are the only wins the Northern Irishman has produced in the Premier League this season. He has also been beaten the last couple of times when facing Luke Humphries since that Night 6 Final win against the World Number 2 and it may be an opportunity for Humphries to get back to winning ways here in what is usually contests where both players can fill up the maximums.

Gerwyn Price to win & over 2.5 180s v Josh Rock: After getting the better of one Welshman in back to back Premier League Quarter Finals, Josh Rock takes aim at the in-form Gerwyn Price.

There was nothing wrong with the level Rock was producing in Germany over Easter Weekend and he lost a high quality match against Niels Zonneveld.

However, Josh Rock has struggled with the Premier League environment and it is going to be very difficult to slow down Price and the momentum he has picked up.

Moving into 2nd place in the Premier League standings, Gerwyn Price has been in fine form for a number of weeks and should be well rested having skipped the last European Tour event. He will recognise that Josh Rock is playing better, but The Ice Man has been producing top level darts and he should have enough power scoring to contain the threat of the younger player with nothing to lose.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Stephen Bunting: There has been little wrong with recent Stephen Bunting efforts against Luke Littler, but he has ultimately come up short in those Premier League contests and that is largely down to the power scoring of the World Number 1.

After the issues at the end of the defeat to Gian van Veen, it will be interesting to see what kind of reaction Luke Littler will get from the crowd in Brighton.

For all the talent he possesses, it can be easy to forget that Littler is still young and relatively inexperienced and he has not always handled the crowd turning against him. That becomes a potential factor in this match with Stephen Bunting usually receiving plenty of support, but Littler will want to draw a line under the controversy in Manchester and perhaps set up that rematch with van Veen who plays in the last Quarter Final.

Luke Littler continues to dominate the maximum hitting and he can be backed to complete the match double against Stephen Bunting yet again.

Michael van Gerwen v Gian van Veen: Both of these players travelled to Germany for the last European Tour event, but neither produced anything of note and will now return to Premier League action.

After Night 9 and Gian van Veen reaching the Final, there is now just a point between the compatriots with Michael van Gerwen clinging onto a top four place.

There just has not been a lot of consistency produced by either player, but Gian van Veen was perhaps a little fortunate to reach the Final on Night 9 and his current form has remained sketchy.

You can say the same for Michael van Gerwen, but a slow start cost him in his Quarter Final defeat to Stephen Bunting- the average was decent enough when fighting back, but too much was left to do at that point of the match.

A stronger start is key, but Gian van Veen has not been producing the big numbers in recent weeks and that may allow his fellow Dutchman to come away with a win as the narrow underdog.

Premier League Darts Night 9 Picks 2026 (Thursday 2nd April)

Eight of the sixteen Premier League Darts nights have been completed and it is no surprise to anyone to see Luke Littler leading the standings at the halfway stage of the tournament.

He will know it is all about Qualifying for the Finals when everything is reset to decide the tournament on a single night, but Littler fans will be happy to see the World Number 1 picking up some momentum after a slower than expected start to the Premier League.

Luke Littler remains the player to beat, while Jonny Clayton will be keen to earn at least one win on Night 9 having been beaten in the opening match in each of the previous two weeks.

The second of those defeats came against Josh Rock, who finally earned a Premier League win, but the Northern Irishman remains bottom of the standings and has admitted he needs to win at least three of the remaining eight nights to have any hope of doing enough after beginning with seven losses in a row.

Stephen Bunting and Gian van Veen are still in touch with the top four places, but have to start putting some consistent results together, while the big surprise is seeing Luke Humphries sitting outside of the top four.

The defending Champion will not be panicking about things just yet with just 2 points between himself and Michael van Gerwen, but it is a disappointing return when noting Luke Humphries has reached one Final in eight nights of play. His performances have remained very strong, but the World Number 2 has struggled with his doubling at key moments and that has also ended up seeing him beaten in the opening match on three occasions.

Over the next two Premier League Nights, Luke Humphries is in the other side of the bracket compared with Luke Littler, but that won't mean much if he cannot find some consistency with his performances at attacking the outer rim.

Michael van Gerwen to win & most 180s v Stephen Bunting: A number of the Premier League competitors decided to skip the two Players Championship events played earlier in the week, but both Michael van Gerwen and Stephen Bunting were in decent form.

Michael van Gerwen had five wins across two events and Stephen Bunting had six, although neither were able to get themselves into the Quarter Final Round and beyond.

They won't worry too much about that as they open Night 9 of the Premier League and it does feel like van Gerwen is through the illness and any lingering effect it was having on him that saw him miss an earlier Night at the Premier League. His initial form on the return was pretty poor, but Michael van Gerwen has been playing really well over the last couple of weeks and that gives him the edge.

Three meetings against Stephen Bunting have all ended with van Gerwen wins this season and that will also give the Dutchman confidence.

Stephen Bunting produced some exceptional numbers over the last two weeks, but that has led to zero points added to his total- both matches were against Luke Littler. He will feel a similar level will see him win a lot more than he loses, but Bunting may find it tougher to get himself 'up' for the other challengers in the tournament with his numbers dipping in Night 5 and Night 6 compared with what has been produced in those defeats to Luke Littler.

Neither have been consistent with the maximum hitting, but Michael van Gerwen has been slightly stronger there and he is perhaps underestimated to win in that column in any winning effort in this Quarter Final.

Luke Humphries to win & both players over 1.5 180s v Gerwyn Price: The Quarter Final loss to Michael van Gerwen highlighted the issues that Luke Humphries continues to have in his bid to defend his Premier League title.

He is fifth in the table and faces one of the players in the top four, which makes this an important match for Luke Humphries.

Of course the same applies to Gerwyn Price, who did make the Play Offs last season and who has only been beaten in three Quarter Finals in eight nights of Premier League competition.

The most recent meeting between the players ended in a very strong win for Gerwyn Price and snapped a two match losing run against the World Number 2. Big scoring helped Price to that victory and he will need plenty more of that to stay with Luke Humphries in this Quarter Final.

Matches between the players have tended to be very competitive in the main and you have to anticipate this one being the same considering how much is on the line for both Humphries and Price.

Both should be able to hit at least two maximums barring one player dominating and rolling through the match.

The edge here is still with Luke Humphries, although backing against Gerwyn Price on the form that has has been producing consistently is never going to be easy.

One concern remains the low Check Out Percentage produced by Humphries, which is only higher than Josh Rock in the Premier League. That is not going to be good enough to see him into the Play Offs, but Luke Humphries has won a big European Tour title and you have to believe he will eventually get back to a usual level, hopefully beginning in this Quarter Final.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: Back to back Nightly wins have pushed Luke Littler back into a familiar position of topping the Premier League standings.

Night 7 was a tough one overall, but the World Number 1 reminded people how difficult it is becoming for his main rivals to edge past him.

Things were much different in Berlin as Luke Littler produced some big averages and deserved to pick up the Nightly win.

He looks to have the momentum behind him to beat Gian van Veen who did not look close to his best on Night 8 having only just recovered from a hospital stay for Kidney Stones. Not being at his best in Berlin is not a surprise, but Gian van Veen had been struggling for form before that and that has seen him drop into 6th place in the Premier League standings after a very positive start to the tournament.

Gian van Veen does have a Premier League win over Luke Littler, which is testament to the strength of character having put that together soon after the World Championship Final destruction at the hands of the World Number 1. However, the most recent match between these two young stars ended in a win for Littler in a European Tour Final, and the much bigger maximum hitter can come through with the Match Double.

Jonny Clayton to win & Most 180s v Josh Rock: The first six Premier League nights were very productive for Jonny Clayton, but back to back Quarter Final defeats coupled with Luke Littler winning in both Dublin and Berlin means the Welshman has been knocked off the top of the standings.

Half of the Nights have been completed and Clayton will still be a short price to reach the Play Offs, but he will be keen to bounce back and put some more points on the board.

On Night 8, Jonny Clayton fell to Josh Rock to allow the latter to get off the mark in the Premier League, but it was not a high-quality match and the worst effort produced by Clayton in the tournament so far, while being the poorest performance by some distance in Quarter Final action.

Four wins across two Players Championship events earlier in the week will have restored some confidence and Jonny Clayton will believe that a slightly better performance than last week will help him overturn the result.

Josh Rock will be happy to be off the mark, but he was beaten in the Semi Final and the Premier League has just proven to be something that the Northern Irishman has been unable to deal with.

His power scoring has begun to pick up so there has to be some respect for Josh Rock, who is clearly better than what he has produced in the Premier League.

An average of more than two maximums per match makes the second part of the Match Double a bit more awkward, but Jonny Clayton has been able to punch in those big scores often enough to take on this price offered.

In Berlin, Jonny Clayton struggled to get his scoring on track and there were some concerns about the conditions that had been voiced by the players at the end of the Night 8 action. The hope is Manchester will prove to be much better for those heading to the oche and Jonny Clayton can complete the Match Double and get his points tally moving again.

Premier League Darts Night 8 Picks 2026 (Thursday 26th March)

The Premier League reaches the halfway mark of the Group Stage of the competition and that means the current Number 1 faces Number 8, Number 2 faces Number 7, etc etc.

Luke Littler picked up the Nightly win last Thursday and that has helped him close on Jonny Clayton and both look in a good spot to kick on and secure two of the four Play Off spots.

Only five points separate Number 3 Gerwyn Price and Number 7 Stephen Bunting and so there is still much to play for, while Josh Rock is just desperate for any win after another poor performance in Dublin.

Seeing Luke Humphries win the European Tour 3 event last weekend will give his fans plenty of reason to believe the defending Premier League Champion can kick on over the next two months and avoid an upset elimination in the Group Stage. He was clearly upset by some criticism of his 'aura' on the oche and the fact it was suggested he rolls over for Luke Littler, but Humphries used that to fuel him to a success and he will be targeting a second run to the Nightly Final on Night 8 of the tournament.

Nothing comes easy in the Premier League and the matches are being played out in Berlin this week, which may not be offering much encouragement for Luke Littler who tends to avoid playing in Germany at this stage of his career. That may change in the years ahead, but it makes Night 8 challenging for him and Luke Humphries is in the 'weaker' half as long as he can fight his way past Michael van Gerwen in the Quarter Final.

Jonny Clayton to win & most 180s v Josh Rock: Some Jonny Clayton fans may have been wondering how the Welshman would cope with a first Quarter Final loss in the 2026 Premier League on Night 7, but they had no need to be concerned.

He has been a consistent force on the Tour over the last twelve months and Clayton reached the Final of the Belgium Darts Open last weekend.

Confidence will be high, but it could not be any different for Josh Rock who lost in the Second Round in Belgium and has yet to win a single match in the Premier League. There is no doubting the quality of this player, but losses piling up can be very difficult to shake off and Josh Rock has really been struggling in the Premier League.

The Night 5 performance saw Josh Rock average over 100 in a narrow loss to Luke Littler, but he has been well beaten in the next two Premier League matches and averaged in the low 80s. That level is not going to cut the mustard when facing the kind of opponents Josh Rock meets every week in the Premier League and a heavy scoring Jonny Clayton can win this one and add another two points to his total.

Jonny Clayton continues to pile in plenty of maximums and that may see him complete the match double that his mate Gerwyn Price only just missed out last week in his whitewash of Rocky in the Quarter Final in Dublin.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s v Michael van Gerwen: With two wins over this opponent already this month, Luke Humphries has to be confident of completing a hat-trick against Michael van Gerwen.

Neither of the last two wins have been in tough matches and Humphries is certainly playing with a lot more confidence than his opponent, even if the World Number 2 has room for improvement on the doubles.

He was better in the Belgian Darts Open success last weekend, which included a dominant Semi Final win over van Gerwen.

Three wins in Belgium will have done Michael van Gerwen the world of good as he looks to snap a four match losing run in the Premier League. After withdrawing from Night 3 with an illness, Michael van Gerwen has struggled to back up his strong start to the Premier League and Luke Humphries may have too much scoring for him again.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Stephen Bunting: It was far from his most impressive Nightly win in the Premier League and Luke Littler should have perhaps been beaten in the Semi Final and the Final, but he continues to find a way to win matches.

He was upset in the Third Round at the Belgium Darts Open last Sunday, which will give opponents some encouragement, while Night 8 of the Premier League is played in Berlin and everyone knows how much Littler dislikes playing in Germany.

The fans are going to try and rattle him, but Littler may still have enough to beat Stephen Bunting for a second Premier League week in a row.

Stephen Bunting averaged 104 to Littler's 105 in a defeat last week, but he may struggle to reach those levels again.

Last weekend, Stephen Bunting was beaten even earlier than Luke Littler and he has lost four matches in a row- the crowd will likely get behind him, but Littler's maximum hitting power can lead him through to a Semi Final here.

Gerwyn Price to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: Unlike his fellow debutant, Gian van Veen was pretty comfortable in the Premier League setting in his first appearance in the tournament.

He started well enough, but the last month has been a bit more difficult with European Tour events beginning and a lot more darts than usual being played.

The form may already have slipped, but Gian van Veen is also only making his way back from a Kidney Stones operation having been forced to miss Night 7 in Dublin. He also dropped out of the European Tour 3 event and the Dutchman has admitted that he is not quite at full health right now.

This would have been a difficult match up if fully healthy, but a well rested Gerwyn Price is going to be even tougher to beat.

Night 7 ended in a strange way for Price- he had won seventeen of eighteen Legs played in Dublin and had cruised into a 5-0 lead over Luke Littler in the Final. Somehow he lost six Legs in a row to finish as Runner Up, but Gerwyn Price is considered one of the toughest players mentally on the Tour and he can take advantage of a weakened opponent.

They have met twice in the Premier League this season and both have one win apiece and eleven Legs won each.

However, Gian van Veen may need some time to get his rhythm back and this Quarter Final may be too soon after the operation last weekend.

With his maximum hitting continuing at a strong rate, the Ice Man can come through with the match double on Night 8.

Premier League Darts Night 7 Picks 2026 (Thursday 19th March)

Wessel Nijman has threatened to produce a top result together in a big tournament and it all came together for the Dutchman in Germany last week at European Tour 2.

You can't blame the media for focusing on the talented youngsters Luke Littler and Gian van Veen, but Wessel Nijman has room to grow and the hope is that he can kick on from that success last weekend.

If he can, perhaps Nijman will be a debutant in the Premier League next season.

He won't be playing this Thursday in Dublin when Night 7 of the Premier League begins and we are almost at the halfway mark of the tournament with the fight for the top four places heating up.

Another Night win was secured by Jonny Clayton last week and you have to believe that the Welshman is well on his way to locking up one of the top four places having opened up an 8 point lead over second placed Luke Littler. Both players skipped the tournament in Germany with Littler long making it clear he does not like playing in that country after issues with the crowd, while Clayton was dealing with a foot issue last Thursday and needed some rest, rather than travelling to the European Tour 2 event.

Luke Littler is facing Stephen Bunting on Night 7 and the latter will understand why the World Number 1 skipped the event last week after having his match ruined by whistling.

Luke Humphries also missed European Tour 2 and he has a rematch of the Night 6 Final when facing Jonny Clayton in the last of the Quarter Finals.

Just four points separate Luke Littler in 2nd place and Stephen Bunting in 7th and so there is still all to play for in the tournament, while Josh Rock will be hoping fans have travelled from Northern Ireland to Dublin to support his bid for a maiden Premier League win.

It was a torrid weekend for the Darts Picks, but there is an opportunity to bounce back over the next few days with Night 7 and Night 8 of the Premier League sandwiching the European Tour 3 event in Belgium. That event begins on Friday and is played through Sunday, but the concentration for now is on Night 7 of this tournament in Dublin where the top names face off again.

Gian van Veen has been a late withdrawal as he suffers from kidney stones and that is a major concern for the young player, but has perhaps been a factor in his recent downturn in form.

After his own recent struggles with his health, the two points without playing a match will be a boost for Michael van Gerwen who will have moved back into the top four before the start of play in Dublin on Night 7 of the Premier League.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Stephen Bunting: It has to be pretty funny to think that there have been some questions about Luke Littler's early motivations in the Premier League, yet he has cruised into second place in the standings.

That just reminds everyone of the supreme talent of the teenager and Littler continues to be the player to beat in every tournament he enters.

He didn't enter European Tour 2 last weekend and having a bit of time off may have done Luke Littler some good as he prepares to return to action in Dublin. The crowd are likely going to get on his back with Stephen Bunting likely to be a more popular figure, but that has rarely prevented Littler from playing however he feels like and he should have too much for this opponent.

Whistling from the crowds has become a far too common event at the darts over the last twelve months and Bunting was on the wrong side of that in Germany.

This should be played in a better atmosphere for the World Number 9, but Stephen Bunting has suffered four early exits in six Premier League Nights and he may not be able to match the heavy, consistent scoring power of Luke Littler in this race to six Legs.

Gerwyn Price to win & most 180s v Josh Rock: Both of these players were beaten pretty comfortably by Wessel Nijman at the European Tour 2 event last weekend, but Gerwyn Price's defeat was in the Final of that event in Germany.

Josh Rock will have taken confidence from another decent run outside of the Premier League, but he remains without a win in this tournament and the pressure continues to build.

He has admitted that he is perhaps overthinking on a Thursday evening with performances outside of the Premier League remaining steady, but that is always the challenge for debutants in this weekly tournament.

Over the course of the season, Josh Rock can match the maximum hitting of Gerwyn Price, but the numbers within this Premier League have been pretty different. In this tournament alone, the Welshman is hitting those big shots with a touch more regularity and that makes the price on him completing the double in this Quarter Final look pretty appealing.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s v Jonny Clayton: Who would have thunk that Jonny Clayton would be the first to reach two Nightly wins in the Premier League and have a huge lead at the top of the table as we approach the midway point of the competition.

He was favourite to finish bottom of the standings when the tournament kicked off, but Clayton was telling anyone that was prepared to listen how much he enjoys the Premier League.

A former Winner, Jonny Clayton is the only player who has avoided a Quarter Final defeat so far.

That could change this week as we get a repeat of the Night 6 Final when Luke Humphries opposes Clayton and the World Number 2 has to be wondering when things are going to finally fully click for him.

Luke Humphries has some big wins this season, but he has faltered at key times in tournaments and that has prevented him from picking up more titles and especially more points in the Premier League. There has been nothing wrong with the averages and the scoring, but missing key doubles at big moments have proven to be costly, although you have to fully believe Humphries will win many more matches than he loses on current form.

He has lost twice to Jonny Clayton in the Premier League, which makes it three defeats in a row to this opponent and so there is a mental obstacle to overcome, but Luke Humphries will feel his doubling has been the reason he has fallen in both Premier League contests this season.

Even a slight improvement there could turn the tables and it should be noted that Luke Humphries has hit more maximums than Jonny Clayton in both Premier League matches against one another.

Premier League Darts Night 6 Picks 2026 (Thursday 12th March)

Another big Ranking event played on television has been retained by Luke Littler and the World Number 1 continues to be the player to beat, while also looking stronger than his main contenders at key times within matches.

Some fans may be getting a little bored of seeing Littler have things his own way, but that has been far from the case in the Premier League, at least through the opening five nights of the tournament.

No one will be worried that Luke Littler is not going to make the top four and return to the Play Offs, but both the World Number 1 and Luke Humphries will be keen to get going.

Nottingham will host Night 6 of the Premier League and you cannot keep waiting for things to happen once you get to the halfway stage of the tournament later this month- others will be looking to build on strong starts to keep the pressure on the top two players in the world and that makes the Quarter Final matches very important to just continue to tick points over.

Luke Littler would love to pick up another Nightly win to ease any lingering concerns about his form, and that means there is perhaps more pressure on the other Luke, Humphries, to get moving.

The UK Open was won by Luke Littler and he has been enjoying the horse racing at Cheltenham earlier this week, where he was joined by Luke Humphries.

Both will be looking to remind fans of how focused they are and Littler can put a lot of effort into Night 6 knowing he will not be travelling to Germany for the European Tour 2 event beginning on Friday.

Luke Littler has made it clear that he has not enjoyed playing in Germany, but the other seven Premier League players will be heading over to Goettingen where they will begin their bid for a European Tour title in the Second Round on Saturday.

Josh Rock v Stephen Bunting: You would have to say that Josh Rock has been a little unfortunate through the opening five nights of the Premier League- the debutant has yet to win, but has produced his best form against the stronger players in the tournament and underwhelmed in others.

He has been close to picking up a win having narrowly been beaten in a good match against Luke Littler last week, but it was more of the same when Josh Rock lost the UK Open Semi Final to the same opponent.

Reaching the Semi Final has to give him belief and confidence and Rocky also got the better of Stephen Bunting in that tournament.

Much like last year, Stephen Bunting has struggled for consistency in the Premier League and has been all or nothing again.

Four Quarter Final defeats will have dented the confidence, but the one time he did win, Bunting went on and picked up a Nightly win and that means he has not lost as much touch with the top four as he did twelve months ago.

Both players will sense the importance of this Quarter Final, but Josh Rock has had a strong weekend behind him and that may give him the momentum to finally get a Premier League win on the board.

Jonny Clayton & Michael van Gerwen over 2.5 180s: No one will suggest these two players are hitting the maximums at the same rate as Luke Littler, but both Jonny Clayton and Michael van Gerwen have been hitting plenty in their own right.

Two wins at the UK Open will have just gotten van Gerwen back on track after an illness, even if he was blown away by James Wade in a Sixth Round loss.

He wasn't playing badly, and Michael van Gerwen has made a solid start to the Premier League campaign and certainly could be a little stronger with a few days of recovery this week.

Jonny Clayton was undone by his old mate Gerwyn Price in a tight match at the UK Open, but the Welsh Number 1 has continued to play at a very good level in 2026.

It is Clayton who is leading the Premier League table having picked up a Nightly win and winning each of the five Quarter Final matches played- he knows that it is very important to keep points ticking over in a competitive field and Jonny Clayton may just edge this one.

The layers are finding it hard to separate the two and this has the makings of a match that will need at least ten Legs before separating them- both should have the time to reach three maximums each and that looks the play.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s v Gian van Veen: Go back twelve months and price up this kind of match and you would likely have Luke Humphries down as a big favourite.

He is the favourite on Thursday, but Humphries is not clear and that is largely down to the fact he keeps finding a way to lose tight matches against Gian van Veen.

There has already been a 6-5 loss in the Premier League and a 7-5 loss in a European Tour match in 2026, and those after Luke Humphries beat van Veen 5-0 at the World Masters and looked to have righted the ship.

A tale of the season has been Humphries playing well and finding ways to lose and that has been the case in the Premier League defeat to Gian van Veen when missing a huge amount of doubles.

Treble hitting has been less of an issue for Luke Humphries and he may score more of those than the Dutchman, but you have to believe he cannot keep missing at key times. The World Number 2 needs a big run here in Nottingham and he looks a big price to win a match with the most maximums in this one, even against an opponent like Gian van Veen who has shown tremendous character to win matches when not always playing at his best.

Luke Littler to win & most 180s v Gerwyn Price: Last year there was a suggestion that Luke Littler did not enjoy playing Gerwyn Price, but he has won all four meetings against the Welshman in 2026.

Some of those have been really close and competitive, but Littler is motivated to put it to all of his rivals and he continues to blitz through a few minutes to take matches away from those who think they might just have got his number.

The scary prospect for his main rivals is that Littler seemed to win the UK Open in second gear and that makes him a big favourite to win every tournament he enters.

His overall performance may not have been near his 'A game', but Littler should be very focused on Night 6 of the Premier League with the decision made to skip European Tour 2 in Germany.

Luke Littler will also be aware that he cannot afford to give anything away to Gerwyn Price, who has been playing at a very good level and who reached the UK Open Semi Final last Sunday.

However, it was another tournament where Price just ran out of steam and he may not have the firepower to stick with the World Number 1 in this Quarter Final.

Gerwyn Price has been hitting plenty of maximums of his own, but a focused Luke Littler can be very tough to stop, assuming he is not thinking about Cheltenham any more.

Premier League Darts Night 4 Picks 2026 (Thursday 26th February)

The motivational factor is going to be a key to the scheduling that Luke Littler puts together for the 2026 season and it says plenty that he has skipped all of the floor events.

That may have been a reason that Littler has not really begun his Premier League campaign nearly as strongly as the last two, but he may feel he has time over the sixteen nights to rack up enough points to avoid missing the Playoffs.

And to further the motivational angle, Luke Littler has already won titles at the World Masters and the first European Tour event of the season last week in Krakow.

Five wins took him to the title and Luke Littler averaged in triple figures four times, while also overcoming a nine darter from Gian van Veen in the Final.

The latter has continued what has been a find start to the 2026 season to follow from reaching the World Championship Final and he will be happy with how the opening three nights in his Premier League debut have developed.

Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price have continued strong starts to the season, while Michael van Gerwen will be hoping that his illness that forced a withdrawal in Glasgow will not have a long-term impact on his own ability to make the Play Offs again.

Both Lukes- Littler and Humphries- have made slower starts than expected, but both are playing well enough to believe they will begin to have the results to back up the performances.

The big pressure going into Night 4 will be on Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock who have lost all three Premier League matches played- the former had an awful 2025 and needs something to change quickly, while Rock is going to be playing in front of his home supporters in Belfast as he looks to get his debut season up and running.

The return from the opening European Tour event was a solid one and has pushed the season totals back towards a positive direction.

Some of the early Premier League picks have been really close to coming through, but a bit of fortune has been missing, which also made a welcome return in Poland over last weekend.

Hopefully that pushes through into Night 4 on Thursday and Night 5 next week before the big Ranking event of the UK Open takes place.

Luke Littler over 3.5 180s & Jonny Clayton over 2.5 180s: It was Jonny Clayton who went on and won Night 3 to continue his fantastic return to the Premier League.

He will head over to Belfast as the Premier League standings leader and Clayton will be keen to back up the strong win over Luke Littler.

Beating Littler is always going to be a result to be admired, but Jonny Clayton beat him 6-1 in the Semi Final in Glasgow and he has averaged 99 or higher in each of the three Quarter Final wins. The Welshman has made no secret of his enjoyment in being back in the Premier League and Clayton continues to hit plenty of big maximums to build pressure.

He had four in the win over Luke Littler last week, but that total was matched by the World Number 1 who continues to pound the red bit.

Backing the World Champion to hit four in this one is always going to go close, while Clayton should at least have enough chances to try and reach a minimum of three even in Legs where he is outscored.

Luke Humphries to win & most 180s: There is a massive mental hurdle for Stephen Bunting to overcome after making another miserable start to a Premier League campaign.

Both of these players decided to skip the Players Championship events earlier this week, but Luke Humphries did not have to play particularly well to beat Stephen Bunting last weekend in Krakow.

He did have more maximums in the straightforward 6-1 win in the Polish Open and Luke Humphries has been playing well, without necessarily having the results to back that up.

You do have to say that Stephen Bunting has put together some decent averages in his opening three losses in the Premier League, but those have piled up and Luke Humphries may power past him again.

With his new darts in hand, Luke Humphries has been hitting the maximums more effectively early in 2026 and can use that big scoring to help him into another Semi Final on a Premier League night.

Gerwyn Price to win & most 180s: He did not take part in the Polish Open and an opening defeat in Players Championship 5 followed the Quarter Final loss to Jonny Clayton last week in Glasgow.

However, Gerwyn Price has continued to play at a high level and won the title at Players Championship 5 behind some big scoring.

The Welshman has won his last two matches against Michael van Gerwen and there has to be some questions about how the Dutchman is feeling after illness forced him to miss Night 3, as well as the Polish Open and both Players Championship events earlier this week.

No one can deny that van Gerwen has begun this season looking much more like his old self, but he will need to be at full health to beat Gerwyn Price on current form.

Michael van Gerwen has been scoring well, but he may need a few more days to really feel like he is over the illness he was dealing with last week and Price can do enough to win this Quarter Final.

Both have been pretty good at hitting the maximums, but again this is perhaps targeting the fact that van Gerwen may not be operating at full tilt and that could see the World Number 10 hit a couple more 180s to bring in the double.

Josh Rock v Gian van Veen: These two players are both debutants in the Premier League, but they have had very different early experiences.

Gian van Veen has reached the Final on two of the three nights played, while Josh Rock has lost every match in the tournament by the same 6-2 scoreline.

So why back Rock to end that here?

For starters he is playing in front of a home crowd that are going to be completely behind him and that could be something that potentially rattles his opponent.

He looked in decent nick in Poland last weekend, and there has not been a great deal in the early averages with Gian van Veen perhaps showing a bit more composure at key times.

Josh Rock was not very good in Antwerp and later blamed that on product he used to wash his hands, but he had not played badly last week and was perhaps a little unfortunate to run into Luke Humphries in the Quarter Final.

And for all his success so far this season, Gian van Veen has perhaps still not been quite operating at his best and will need to deal with the hostile crowd that is expected to be firmly behind the home player.

Finally you cannot ignore the fact that Josh Rock has won the last four between the plaeyrs, which will certainly help him clear the mind and focus here. A couple of European Tour wins and a victory at the Grand Slam means Rock has found those wins in big settings and he may use the crowd to fire him up for long enough to edge past the Dutchman and secure his first points in the Premier League.
